1.0 Position Summary
The Terminal Administration Coordinator/CSR plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of terminal activities and providing exceptional service to clients. This position is responsible for coordinating administrative tasks, managing customer inquiries, and facilitating communication between various departments. 2.0 Reporting
- Terminal Location: 46 Mincey Blvd, Garden City, GA 31408
- Reports to: Terminal Manager
- HR FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
- Office hours: 8am – 5pm
- Due to the workload requirements of this position, we will require a commitment to work after-hours.
- Hourly Wage is commensurate with experience.
3.0 Essential Functions, Job Duties, and Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily terminal operations and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries and provide timely responses.
- Manage and maintain accurate records of terminal activities, including shipments and schedules.
- Collaborate with various departments to streamline processes and improve service delivery.
- Assist in resolving customer issues and complaints, ensuring a high level of satisfaction.
- Ensures interchanges and related paperwork BOLs, PODs, ACC forms are processed timely and according to process and procedure weekly.
- Handles paperwork inquiries from contractors.
- Works directly with dispatch to ensure all paperwork is scanned and submitted.
- Quotes rates (does not negotiate).
- Receives and enters inbound orders.
- Checks releases.
- Receives and enters delivery orders.
- Assists with yard check, as necessary.
- Assist in customer service.
- Enters information into several computer programs, to include: TMW, Outlook.
- Acts as back-up for customer service.
- Back-up for this position is safety administration.
- Performs all other duties or projects as assigned.
4.0 Education and Experience Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience in customer service or administrative roles.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
5.0 Preferred Qualifications
- Associate degree in business administration or a related field.
- Experience in the transportation or logistics industry.
- Familiarity with terminal operations and safety regulations.

- Computer skills – Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Windows.
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.

- Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10’s and 100’s.
- Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.
- Ability to comprehend 24-hour clock system.
- Ability to collate time/distance scheduling for 24/7 operation.
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
- Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
7.0 Work Conditions, Physical and/or Mental Requirements
