What are the responsibilities and job description for the Rowing Instructor Aide position at Duxbury Bay Maritime School Inc?
As a part-time summer Rowing Instructor Aide you will be a role model and instructor for youth ages 12-18 participating in rowing on Duxbury Bay. Aides are responsible for rowing instruction and for the safety of the athletes while on campus in the rowing center, and on the water. Duties include co-teaching from a motorboat with an Instructor, regular equipment maintenance, and modifying instruction in response to changes in weather. Two or more years of High School rowing experience is required and all candidates are required to complete First Aid, CPR, AED, SafeSport and motor boating safety certification courses before the start of programs.
