Job Title: CNC Programmer (Laser and Press Brake) -1st Shift - Full Time (8 :00-4:30 P.M.)

Overview
We are seeking a skilled CNC Programmer to join our "Dynamic" team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in programming CNC Laser and Press Brake machines and a keen understanding of machining processes. This role is crucial in ensuring that our production meets the highest standards of quality and efficiency. The CNC Programmer will be responsible for creating and optimizing programs for a CNC Laser and Press Brake, ensuring precision and adherence to specifications.

Duties

• Develop and optimize CNC programs using CAM programming software to ensure efficient and accurate machining processes.
• Utilize SolidWorks to create and modify 3D models, ensuring all designs meet project specifications.
• Fabricate tooling as needed to support production requirements, ensuring all tools are properly maintained and calibrated.
• Apply Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) principles to ensure parts are produced within specified tolerances.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to troubleshoot issues related to machining processes or tooling.
• Maintain accurate documentation of programming changes, setups, and production runs.

Requirements

• Proven experience in CNC programming with a strong understanding of machining processes.
• Proficiency in CAM programming software and SolidWorks for design modifications.
• Familiarity with GD&T principles is highly desirable.
• Strong math skills for precise calculations related to machining operations.
• Experience operating Laser and/or Press Brake machines or similar CNC equipment is preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
• Excellent attention to detail with a focus on quality assurance in all aspects of work.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
