Responsibilities
- Provide assistance with daily living activities such as grooming, bathing, and dressing
- Support individuals with mobility challenges and assist with transfers
- Monitor and record vital signs as needed
- Engage clients in meaningful activities and social interactions
- Administer medications under supervision
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding when necessary
- Maintain a clean and safe living environment for clients
Experience
- Previous experience in home care, assisted living, or related field is preferred
- Knowledge of memory care techniques is a plus
- Ability to perform heavy lifting when required
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is beneficial
- Familiarity with home community care practices is advantageous
