What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Assistant position at DyStar?
Assist in the design and maintenance of the preventative maintenance program that incorporates preventative measures to avoid adulteration of product/raw materials and ensures the quality of the output from the equipment.
Ensure the calibration program within the plant and warehouse on specified instruments, equipment and test equipment.
Perform electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic maintenance and repair of machinery and/or equipment as required.
Perform diagnostic testing for malfunctions of machinery and equipment.
Dismantle, assemble and install industrial machinery.
Assists with maintaining the supply of spare parts and updating maintenance supervisor on what items need replaced.
Ensure all post-maintenance work areas are left clean to include in-house and contract maintenance.
Perform tasks associated with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) as trained.
Assist in maintaining outside grounds.
Assist in collecting bids for parts and services as needed.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Pay: $20.00 - $26.00 per hour
