Job Overview
We are a trucking company and are seeking a highly organized and proactive Office Manager to oversee the daily operations of our office. We also have a farm and the candidate will be doing books for that as well. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, exceptional communication abilities, and a knack for multitasking. This role is essential in ensuring that our office runs smoothly and efficiently, providing support to staff and management alike. The Office Manager will also be responsible for managing administrative tasks, coordinating events, and supporting human resources functions.
Responsibilities
- have 2 years of accounting or experience
- Handle accounts receivable and payable
- Maintain office supplies inventory and order as necessary to ensure smooth operations.
- Handle phone systems effectively, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette while managing incoming calls.
- Support human resources functions including onboarding new employees and maintaining employee records, including DOT files, fuel reports
- Communicate effectively with team members and external partners to foster a collaborative work environment.
- Ensure compliance with office policies and procedures while maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information.
Requirements
- Proven experience in office management or relevant administrative roles.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Familiarity with medical office management is a plus but not required.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy in all tasks performed.
