Overview
We are seeking an experienced Civil Project Manager to lead the design, planning, and execution of site development projects. This role requires a strong leader with the ability to manage multidisciplinary teams, collaborate with clients and regulatory agencies, and oversee projects from initiation to completion. The ideal candidate will have extensive expertise in civil engineering, site development, permitting, and construction oversight.
Responsibilities
- Manage and guide design teams through conceptual development, permitting, and the preparation of construction documentation.
- Develop detailed drawings, technical specifications, and engineering reports for DOT approvals, bidding, and construction.
- Collaborate with clients, engineers, architects, and planners to plan and execute site development projects.
- Serve as the primary client representative, coordinating meetings with government agencies and key stakeholders.
- Oversee the bidding process, including bid evaluations and award recommendations.
- Provide construction administration services, including reviewing shop drawings, addressing RFIs, and monitoring project progress.
- Support business development initiatives in the Southeast region by maintaining client relationships and identifying growth opportunities.
- Define project scopes, develop fee proposals, negotiate contracts, and manage budgets and schedules.
- Maintain clear and effective communication with project teams, clients, and regulatory agencies throughout the project lifecycle.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in civil engineering and site development.
- Proven ability to lead client and board meetings for medium to large-scale projects.
- Strong understanding of land use planning, municipal approvals, and regulatory compliance.
- Hands-on experience with project documentation, regulatory approvals, and permitting processes.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with experience mentoring junior engineers.
- Strong communication, organizational, and technical writing abilities.
- Proficiency in civil engineering design software and project management tools.
- Valid driver’s license and access to a personal vehicle for site visits and meetings.

Pay: $110,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
