Role: Electrical Estimator/Project Manager
Location: Rockville, MD/On-site
Job Type: Fulltime/Permanent
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct site visits to evaluate project requirements and develop precise cost estimates.
- Prepare and submit competitive bids using industry-standard estimating methods and software.
- Review and interpret blueprints, electrical plans, and technical drawings to define project scope and costs.
- Ensure all work meets electrical codes, industry regulations, and safety standards.
- Manage project documentation, including contracts, specifications, addenda, and change orders.
- Stay up to date with advancements in electrical materials, equipment, and industry trends.
- Assist with technical writing for reports, project documentation, and client correspondence.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships through a professional and customer-focused approach.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience in electrical estimating and project management.
- Hands-on electrical field experience required.
- Valid driver’s license with three (3) points or fewer.
- Strong work ethic, self-motivation, and dependability.
- Professional licenses and certifications preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, project management software, and electrical estimating tools.
- Strong mathematical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Proven ability to develop and maintain client relationships.
- Independent, results-driven, and proactive mindset.
- Team-oriented with a professional and cooperative attitude.
- High school diploma or trade school education required.
- Must pass a background check.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $85,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
