Email Marketing Specialist

E Squared Marketing is looking for a creative, detail-oriented, and strategic Email Marketing Specialist to join our growing team! This is a full-time position (40 hrs/week) based in Scottsdale, AZ, with our office located next to Scottsdale Quarter. Full-time employees work three days in-office and two days remote, with the ability to flex shifts as needed.

The Ideal Email Marketing Specialist:

The right candidate will be responsible for developing innovative marketing strategies, creating compelling email campaigns, and translating our clients' business objectives into engaging email marketing content. To succeed in this role, you must be analytical, highly organized, and creative, with a strong focus on quality and attention to detail.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Develop innovative marketing strategies and translate client objectives into email marketing campaigns.
• Oversee and execute client email marketing campaigns, ensuring all deadlines are met.
• Create high-quality email content, including compelling copy, graphics, and templates.
• Conduct research on email marketing trends, platforms, and software systems to ensure best practices are followed.
• Monitor and analyze campaign performance metrics to track effectiveness and improve outreach.
• Ensure all email newsletters align with the client’s brand, voice, and business goals.
• Design and enhance email templates using Canva and source high-quality images as needed.
• Collaborate with the Copy Editor and Director of Client Services to finalize and optimize email drafts.
• Make necessary adjustments based on client feedback and track monthly campaign performance.
• Maintain strong relationships with clients, proactively identifying opportunities to enhance their email marketing presence.
• Participate in team meetings, contribute innovative ideas, and stay updated on the latest email marketing trends.

Other Responsibilities:

• Perform additional administrative and internal tasks as required.
• Attend E Squared Marketing team meetings monthly.
• Provide KPI updates and performance reports regularly.
• Continue professional development by staying informed on industry trends.

Experience & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in marketing, communications, journalism, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 1 years of experience in email marketing, digital marketing, or content creation.
• Strong knowledge of email marketing platforms, including MailChimp, Klaviyo, Constant Contact, or HubSpot.
• Prior experience creating marketing emails, newsletters, and graphic designs.
• Proficiency in Canva and other content creation tools.
• Strong copywriting, proofreading, and analytical skills.
• Ability to manage multiple client accounts and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Pay:

$45K - $52K per year, depending on experience.
