Overview
The Project Manager III is responsible for managing the scope, schedule and operational interfaces for the project. The ability to lead a collaboration of stakeholders, designers and contractors will be critical to the program’s success. The Project Manager III will be focused on schedule certainty, budget delivery and making sure that construction work meets the required quality standards while enforcing a strong health, safety, and environmental culture on the project. The Project Manager III will ensure the development and implementation of design, construction, testing, commissioning, turnover plans, impacts to the operations, and that risk mitigation for construction activities will be optimized.
Responsibilities
- Provide leadership for the planning, development, and implementation of large-scale, high-complexity strategic business and technology projects.
- Effectively collaborate with internal departments, stakeholders, cross-functional teams, and vendors to define requirements, assess alternatives and present solutions to business challenges.
- Responsible for budget and resource planning.
- Single point of contact for all economic and regulatory issues for the assigned projects.
- Develop and maintain project parameters for project requirements.
- Manage and coordinate all activities leading to the successful completion of projects including project scoping, timelines, cost estimates, and design.
- Build business cases and project justifications.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Business Management or equivalent field; equivalent experience with customer approval.
- Minimum 6-8 years experience providing direct project management pertaining to construction projects: Electrical/Gas Substation, Compressor, Transmission, Distribution, IT, or Civil projects.
- PMP required, Agile or other Program Management certifications, training or demonstrated experience with customer approval.
- IEEE, IEC participating member.
- Adept at MS Project, Primavera (P6), or equivalent project management planning tools.
- In-depth knowledge of cost management and controls, budget forecasting, demonstrated risk management and mitigation with exceptional communication skills.
- PE Preferred.

Wage Data Per State Requirements
Salary range for this position is $135,000 - $165,000. The starting salary will be commensurate with skill, education, experience, and working environment.
