Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Person to join our team. This role is essential for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities through effective maintenance and repair of equipment and systems. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in both electrical and mechanical maintenance, with the ability to read schematics and utilize various tools, including an ohmmeter. Leadership skills are a plus as you will collaborate with other team members to uphold high standards of facility maintenance.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance on equipment and facilities to ensure optimal performance.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems, including logic controllers and other related components.
- Conduct mechanical repairs and preventive maintenance on machinery.
- Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for tracking work orders and inventory.
- Read and interpret schematics to execute repairs effectively.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
- Collaborate with team members to improve processes and enhance facility operations.
Experience
- Proven experience in facilities maintenance or a related field is preferred.
- Strong electrical knowledge, including familiarity with logic controllers.
- Mechanical knowledge with the ability to perform repairs on various types of machinery.
- Proficiency in using tools such as an ohmmeter for troubleshooting electrical issues.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
- Demonstrated leadership skills are advantageous for team collaboration.
