The Opportunity :

Our Client is a Legally US based Hazardous Materials Transportation Company and has entrusted us to seek an experienced and strategic Human Resources Director to lead and evolve our HR functions across all levels of the organization. In this role, you will partner with our executive leadership team to shape the company’s HR strategy, foster a culture of continuous improvement, and implement initiatives that support our business goals. Key Responsibilities :

  • Strategic Leadership : Develop and execute HR strategies aligned with our business objectives, ensuring agility in our evolving industry.
  • Talent Management : Oversee talent acquisition, onboarding, performance management, and succession planning to attract and retain top talent.
  • Recruiting & Retention : Implement innovative recruiting and retention strategies specifically focused on attracting and retaining top truck driver talent, ensuring a robust and reliable workforce.
  • Employee Engagement : Cultivate a positive workplace culture through effective employee relations, engagement initiatives, and continuous feedback mechanisms.
  • Policy & Compliance : Design, implement, and review HR policies, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Organizational Development : Lead organizational change initiatives and professional development programs to build leadership and enhance team capabilities.
  • Compensation & Benefits : Manage competitive compensation, benefits, and reward programs that drive performance and satisfaction.
  • Diversity & Inclusion : Champion diversity and inclusion initiatives to create an equitable workplace for all employees.
  • Operational Excellence : Oversee HR operations, budget management, and analytics to drive continuous improvement in HR practices.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; Master’s degree or SHRM / HR certification preferred.
  • A minimum of 8-10 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership role, preferably within the transportation or logistics industry.
  • Proven track record in strategic planning, organizational development, and change management.
  • Strong knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive innovative HR solutions and foster a culture of excellence.
  • Fluency in English and Spanish is a MUST.
