Eagle Harbor, a subsidiary of Three Saints Bay, LLC and an Industry Leader is seekingan Finance Instructor in Ft. Jackson, Columbia, SC.
Responsibilities :
The 36B Advanced Individual Training (AIT) Instructor will provide Subject Matter Expertise (SME) in 36B AIT course, and therefore requires in the the US Army in the 36B Finance MOS series. The instructor is responsible to train Finance and Comptroller tasks per Army FM 1-06, DOD FMR Vol. 5, Vol. 7a, and Vol. 10, and the Joint Travel Regulation, as based on the two approved Finance & Comptroller core competencies of Finance Operations and Resource Management. The Finance Operations Core competency includes the functions of Disbursing, Banking, Pay Support and Vendor / Contract Payments. The Resource Management competency includes the functions of Programming, Budget Formulation, Budget Distribution, Budget Execution and Cost Benefit Analysis. The 36B AIT Instructor is also responsible for preparing students to conduct an end-of-course Culminating Training Event (CTE).
Position Requirements :
- US Citizen.
- Ability to obtain and maintain an Active Public Trust Designation.
- Valid US Driver's License
- Bachelors Degree from an accredited college or university
- Minimum of three years' experience in Army Finance and Comptroller Operations
- Minimum of three years' experience an operational Army financial management element / organization
- Must have working knowledge of Army funds management, cost management and spending chain
- Must be able to complete Instructor training IAW TRADOC and US Army Soldier Support Institute regulations
Preferred Knowledge :
This position is a civilian contractor position, teaching in a classroom environment. The selected candidate will wear civilian clothes and will not have "drill sergeant" responsibilities.
