Position Overview

Eagle Healthcare is seeking an experienced Qualified Professional (QP) to serve as Program Director, leading the oversight and expansion of our mental health programs. This role is ideal for a QP with a strong background in clinical compliance, staff supervision, and program development. The Program Director will ensure adherence to state regulations, support the growth of new service lines, and uphold the highest standards of care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Program Oversight & Compliance
  • Ensure all mental health programs, including PSR, are in full compliance with North Carolina DHHS and Medicaid regulations.
  • Conduct regular internal audits, chart reviews, and risk assessments.
  • Implement policies and procedures in alignment with best practices and licensure requirements.
  • Clinical Supervision
  • Provide ongoing supervision to QPs, Associate Professionals, and Paraprofessionals.
  • Support professional development through coaching, training, and performance evaluations.
  • Lead clinical team meetings and case reviews.
  • Program Growth & Development
  • Identify opportunities to expand current services and launch new lines of care (e.g., outpatient therapy, community support services, TBI services).
  • Assist with program licensing and accreditation efforts.
  • Collaborate with leadership to align growth strategies with the organization’s mission.
  • Stakeholder Communication
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for regulatory bodies, community partners, and referral sources.
  • Represent Eagle Healthcare at community meetings and stakeholder events.
  • Data & Quality Management
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to client outcomes, service utilization, and staff productivity.
  • Use data to inform decision-making and improve service delivery.

Key Goals (First 6-12 Months)

  • Ensure 100% compliance across all current programs.
  • Streamline clinical documentation and supervisory practices.
  • Successfully license and launch at least one additional service line.
  • Recruit, onboard, and supervise additional clinical and paraprofessional staff.
  • Increase program census and revenue through strategic partnerships and community outreach.

Qualifications

  • Must meet North Carolina standards as a Qualified Professional (QP) in mental health.
  • Bachelor’s degree (required); Master’s in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or related field (preferred).
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a leadership or supervisory role in mental health services.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of NC DHHS, Medicaid policies, and mental health program operations.
  • Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
  • Passion for community mental health and client-centered care.

Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Day shift
