Job Description:
We are seeking a compassionate, reliable, and dedicated childcare provider to assist with caring for children during evening hours. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment, promoting fun, educational activities, and assisting with evening routines.
We are seeking a compassionate, reliable, and dedicated childcare provider to assist with caring for children during evening hours. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment, promoting fun, educational activities, and assisting with evening routines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and engage children in age-appropriate activities (play, crafts, reading, etc.)
- Assist with homework, light tutoring, or skill-building exercises
- Prepare and serve dinner and snacks, ensuring dietary restrictions are followed
- Ensure children’s safety at all times, indoors and outdoors
- Assist with bedtime routines, including baths, changing, and storytime
- Provide emotional support and comfort as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized environment
- Communicate with parents about the child’s daily activities, behavior, and any issues or concerns
Requirements:
- Prior experience in childcare, babysitting, or a related field
- CPR and First Aid certification (preferred, but not required)
- Patience, reliability, and a positive attitude
- Ability to multitask and stay organized in a busy environment
- Ability to build rapport and connect with children
- Must be comfortable working independently and as part of a family team
- Must be able to pass a background check
