We are seeking a relationship-oriented and numbers driven Business Development Rep to join our growing team.

Responsibilities

  • Researching and identifying potential strategic accounts with significant business value
  • Analyzing market data to prioritize target accounts based on industry, size, and potential impact
  • Qualifying leads by assessing their business needs, decision-making structure, and fit with company offerings
  • Initiating contact with key decision-makers within strategic accounts through cold calling, emailing, and networking
  • Setting up initial meetings with the sales team, and providing valuable insights to facilitate a smooth handoff to close deals
  • Conducting discovery calls to gather detailed information on their pain points, goals, and buying process
  • Focusing on long-term account development and maximizing revenue potential
  • Establishing rapport and building trust with potential clients by demonstrating a deep understanding of their business challenges
  • Conducting in-depth research to understand business needs of accounts
  • Effectively managing the sales pipeline by tracking key account metrics, identifying potential roadblocks, and proactively addressing issues
  • Collaborating with the sales team to develop targeted account plans and strategies
  • Maintaining accurate and detailed records of all account interactions within the CRM
  • Regularly communicating progress and updates on key accounts to sales leadership
  • Providing valuable insights and feedback to the sales team


Requirements


Who You Are

  • Able to identify, critique, suggest and implement changes to client's business optimization processes
  • Self-motivator and able to thrive in a results-driven environment
  • Have exceptional planning and organizational skills


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business or a related field
  • 1-2 years of SDR/BDR experience
  • Experience working for or with large construction companies, developers and general contractors is a plus
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong analytics and organizational skills
