This position is an at-will part-time hourly position from 2 : 30-5 : 30 with the opportunity for growth over time. The position will support working families to provide an enriching and safe environment for children beyond the school day. Students need time in the afternoon to play, create, explore and reflect and our school provides the space and caring faculty to do just that! QUALIFICATIONS FOR AN Afterschool Coordinator
- Experience in teaching or managing students
- True passion for growing students' abilities
Experience with both elementary and middle school students is preferred but multiple factors will be taken into consideration. Are you skilled in interpersonal relations with students, parents, teachers, staff, and the general public? Do you have outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal? Do you love the art of education and instructional design? Are you team-oriented? Are you compassionate and caring while able to maintain professional boundaries? If so, you might just be perfect for the afterschool teacher position!
