Under the supervision of the Assistant Superintendent of Educational Support Services, the Coordinator of Expanded Learning Opportunities Programs (ELOP) will provide critical leadership to carry out East Whittier City School District’s vision for the various expanded learning programs. Primary responsibilities include the management of the District’s state-funded Expanded Learning Opportunity Program (ELOP) and coordinating the daily operations and all administrative aspects of the programs. The Coordinator will oversee ELOP-funded programs that provide safe, engaging, and enriching student activities in academics, enrichment, sports, and more. This involves management of all aspects of the Expanded Learning Opportunities Program (ELOP) including budget and program development, outreach to identified students, and collaboration with and coordination of extended/enrichment care providers and vendors. 1. Minimum of five (5) years’ experience as a classroom teacher, or equivalent experience.
2. A Valid California Administrative Credential
3. 5 years of administrative experience desired.
4. Bilingual Desired
