Position Summary
Easterly is conducting a search for a Marketing Manager. This individual will be responsible for ensuring all marketing and communications initiatives and key events are organized and meeting the deadline. The role requires strong administrative, event planning, and project management skills and proven experience operating collaboratively with VP, Communications and VP, Marketing. This role will report directly to the Chief Operating Officer and will act as a liaison between Marketing and Communications, ensuring seamless execution of tasks.
Primary responsibilities shall include the following:
- Effectively project manage and triage request from various stakeholders to ensure marketing and communications are responsive and address the needs of the sales team and Strategic Partners
- Accountable for managing the 2025 roadmap, coordinating various teams to ensure the calendar is built out and key deliverables stay on schedule
- Daily and monthly reporting to track deliverables versus target, escalating any potential slippage quickly
- Creating a weekly marketing and communications roundup with all content available for the sales team and the recommended use
- Quality control check on collateral and websites to ensure all materials are consistent with brand guidelines and messaging
- Own the conference calendar, gathering details on sponsorship packages and consolidating potential events for 2025 for review and approval
- Assist in ensuring successful execution of earned speaking opportunities at conference
- Manage ordering collateral pieces (brochures, fact sheets, banners, swag) for sales opportunities, conferences and meetings
- Manage swag in line with the budget
- Responsible for ensuring consistent branding of external and internal events
- Support with tracking the success of marketing and communications campaigns monthly, report on outcomes and make recommendations to improve overall engagement.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:
- Bachelor’s degree with strong academic performance
- 5-7 years of proven experience in marketing, within the asset management industry is preferred
- Ability to prioritize and execute on multiple simultaneous priorities and initiatives
- Strong project management skills, attention to detail; highly organized; strong communication and analytical skills a must.
- Initiative, drive, and ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Thrive in a highly regulated environment that demands compliance oversight
