Project Manager
Marketing By Design (MBD) is seeking a dynamic and experienced Project Manager to join our team.
This post is full-time (40 hours), Mon to Fri: 9-5.30pm, reporting to the Production Director.
The post is open to remote working EST in the US only.
As a Project Manager, you will manage the flow of work between the client and the MBD production team, interpreting information and giving directions, whilst maintaining smooth lines of communication. You will manage multiple projects simultaneously ensuring that deadlines are met. You will partner with other project managers to ensure brand and brief compliance. You will excel at building relationships and building trust both with the internal team and with the client by providing sound judgement, calmness under pressure, and a consistent eye for detail.
The ideal person will be responsive, flexible, professional, and have strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities
- Build professional, respectful, and trusting relationships with the client and the internal team.
- Develop and execute projects and revisions as appropriate to meet the client and vendor’s requirements.
- Facilitate QC processes creating file markups and written direction until all revisions are complete.
- Manage each project scope, status and resource allocation by creating realistic schedules.
- Manage workflow system data from project execution to completion.
- Facilitate the flow of information throughout the project to ensure internal requirements and approvals are met.
- Lead team meetings including project briefs, milestones, production and post project evaluations.
- Communicate clear, concise directions and proactively identify and resolve issues.
Preferred Qualifications, Skills, and Experience
- 2 years of experience in project management is desirable.
- Able to build positive relationships with the client and the internal team.
- Strong communication and presentation skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong organizational, time management, and follow-up skills
- Thrives under pressure.
- Familiarity with MacOS environments and MS Office 365 is essential.
- Understanding of project management methodology and project management tools would be a plus.
