Account Manager

Marketing By Design (MBD) is seeking a dynamic Account Manager to join our Private Label team.

This post is full-time (40 hours) reporting to the Creative Strategy Manager.

This post is remote (US only) although there will be a need to travel occasionally to meet the expectations of the role.

As an Account Manager, you will play a key strategic role serving as the primary point of contact for the client.

You will deliver design and packaging artwork projects and provide creative direction for the client.

You will ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meeting the clients expectations.

You will thrive at building relationships and developing trust by providing thoughtful and effective solutions.

You will have a keen eye for detail and sound judgment.

You will be a self-motivated problem solver who thrives under pressure.

The ideal person will be flexible, responsive and have strong organizational and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Build professional, respectful, and trusting relationships with clients and internal team members.
• Manage client relationships through effective communication and proactive interventions.
• Provide strategic guidance and creative direction to clients.
• Proactively seek out, create, and manage proposals for new opportunities with the client.
• Manage and control budgets including estimates and invoices to maximize billing.
• Lead client and internal team meetings.
• Communicate clearly and concisely.
• Identify and proactively resolve issues to ensure client satisfaction.

Qualifications, Skills, and Experience

• 2 years of experience in Account Management is essential.
• Experience working in packaging design would be a plus.
• Drive active engagement in client relationships, fielding questions and gathering information to develop and deliver a clear and concise brief.
• Excellent communication, presentation, time management, and follow-up skills.
• Familiarity with MacOS environment, MS Office 365 and Keynote a plus.
