This position is temp-to-perm with a 90-day evaluation period. After successfully completing 90 days, there is potential for permanent hire based on performance and business needs.
Easterseals PORT Health, a non-profit service provider, is seeking a Service Desk Specialist to join our team. As a valued member of our team, you will be responsible for responding to requests for assistance that come in for the ESPH information systems.
What You’ll Do
The Service Desk Specialist is responsible for resolving inquiries and requests for the organization's information systems; responding over the phone, electronically and in person, on rotation. The Specialist is able to identify concerns, categorize, prioritize, troubleshoot and provide step-by-step instructions to resolve those concerns and close out the tickets upon resolution. The Specialist also assists with inventory management, maintaining user documentation and computer cloning/imaging, when needed.

What We’re Looking For
To join our team as the Service Desk Specialist we are seeking candidates that have a passion for providing superior customer service utilizing strong interpersonal skills, have Windows desktop support experience and the ability to work in a micro-computing environment with a focus on process improvement. We also require:
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum of 2 years of related Information Technology experience
