Eastminster Presbyterian Church is currently hiring for an Office Manager. The Office Manager will be responsible for providing administrative support for the Pastor, professional church staff and members fulfilling their voluntary duties and assignments. The Office Manager should have an active knowledge of all church activities, exhibit strong attention to detail and superior organizational skills, be versed in financial office work, demonstrate excellent communication skills, as well as having a warm and welcoming presence. The ideal candidate will have a passion for learning and enthusiasm for furthering the mission in Christ with the wider community.
Administrative Duties
· Spreading good word with creation of weekly newsletters and assist volunteers with production and mailings. Keep current with bulk mailing rules and procedures.
· Maintain office master calendar, create and collaborate on print & online event flyers and content.
· Maintain adequate inventory of office supplies and maintain office equipment ensuring it is in good working order.
· Train all volunteer staff and ensure cross-training.
· Answer phones as needed, answer e-mails, place calls as directed, and welcome and assist those who come into the church office.
· Assist Deacon Moderator and provide financial report prior to each Deacons meeting.
· Anticipate and provide support for pastor and directors of Christian Education, Youth, and Music, and all committee chairs. This may include, but is not limited to special printing, mailings, minutes, reports, record keeping, monthly and annual projects,
· Assist the Clerk of Session with the Annual Presbytery Report as needed.
· Update the website and LED Sign in front of church as directed.
· Coordinate with the sexton and housekeeper regarding church activities and needs.
· Record under dual control contributions from members on a weekly basis
· Assist the Financial Manager as necessary.
Necessary Skills
· Familiarity with Microsoft Office and Excel preferred as these will be used frequently in the business of the office.
· Strong organization skills, strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in working with finances.
· Flexibility to work with variety of people and situations.
· Familiarity with Graphic Design is helpful in administration of the website, LED signa and Facebook updates.

Pay: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour
