We are looking for a Facilities Maintenance Technician to support a global provider of mission-critical products and services that drive scientific innovation in healthcare, biopharma, and advanced manufacturing.
About the Role:
As a Facilities Maintenance Technician, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of facility equipment and infrastructure. This hands-on position requires strong troubleshooting skills and a proactive approach to maintenance and repair.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform general maintenance on machinery, equipment, and facility infrastructure
- Maintain and repair manufacturing equipment and fixtures
- Oversee building electrical systems, HVAC, and other critical facility components
- Conduct repairs and carpentry work, including doors, flooring, docks, overhead doors, and materials-handling equipment
- Respond to security alarm calls as needed
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities
- Troubleshoot issues and escalate complex problems as necessary
What You Need:
Education: High School Diploma or GED
Experience: 3 years of relevant maintenance experience
Technical Skills:
- Applied maintenance experience in a GMP manufacturing environment (preferred)
- HVAC system knowledge required
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams)
- Strong math, troubleshooting, and mechanical skills
Soft Skills:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with teams
