We are looking for an experienced and proactive HR leader to manage our HR operations and ensure compliance across multiple office locations. The ideal candidate will be a strong communicator, capable of developing policies that promote a positive work culture and maintaining the highest standards of employee relations, performance management, and legal compliance.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

We need a dynamic HR professional who has a proven track record in employee relations, compliance, recruiting, onboarding, payroll processing, and policy development. You should be comfortable managing multiple HR functions simultaneously. A strong attention to detail, ability to maintain confidentiality, and experience in a multi-location environment are essential. The HR Manager will work closely with management to address employee concerns, drive positive change, and support the organization's growth through effective recruitment and employee retention strategies.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

In this role, you will oversee HR operations, including developing policies, managing compliance, and ensuring effective employee engagement. Key duties will include:

  • Recruiting and Onboarding: Manage the full-cycle recruiting process, including sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding new hires. Ensure a smooth transition for new employees, reducing onboarding time and improving retention rates.
  • Employee Relations: Address workplace conflicts, provide support to employees, and maintain a positive work culture.
  • Compliance: Ensure HR practices comply with federal, state, and local employment laws; conduct audits; and provide training for staff and management on legal requirements.
  • Payroll: Process payroll efficiently and accurately, ensuring timely payment and compliance with all applicable regulations.
  • Policy Development and Implementation: Develop and communicate HR policies, ensuring they are up to date and accessible to employees.
  • Performance Management: Oversee the performance review process and support employee development and performance improvement plans.
  • Leave Management: Manage leave programs ensuring fairness and compliance.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain confidential employee records and provide advisory support to management on HR-related matters.

CORE REQUIREMENTS:

To excel in this role, candidates must possess:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • A minimum of five years of HR management experience with a focus on employee relations, compliance, recruiting, onboarding, payroll, and policy development.
  • Strong knowledge of HR laws, payroll processing, and best practices, and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in HR software systems and payroll platforms, with the ability to streamline processes for greater efficiency.
  • A demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with management and staff at all levels.
  • HRCI or SHRM certification preferred
  • Deltek Vision knowledge preferred

Salary : $100,000 - $115,000
