One of our Clients in the government domain is seeking a MIM Consultant (Microsoft Identity Manager) with expertise in identity management, collaboration platforms, cloud security, customer relationship management, and user account security to meet the complex demands of a modern enterprise IT environment.
MIM Consultant (Microsoft Identity Manager)
Remote- Should be able to report to Columbus, OH for 1st day orientation.

Responsibilities:
- Serve as a senior technical expert, providing guidance and support to team members and department product teams in successfully learning, adopting, and utilizing IT systems, including MIM, FIM, Okta, SharePoint, and Salesforce. Leverage best delivery methodology practices to ensure seamless integration, efficient system usage, and optimized performance.
- Consult with clients to define requirements and recommend enterprise solutions.
- Generate, identify, and qualify methods of incorporating technology with standard industry practices.
- Study technical trends and how to affect this acquired information to upgrade the systems.
- Serve as an advisor on industry alternatives, options, and perils, and provide data on the advantages against the disadvantages of the same on the business processes and procedures.
- Provides support for ongoing and recurring IT security and financial audits of the system.
- Consult with program/project management to develop appropriate technical solutions.
- Advise on options, risks, costs vs. benefits, and impact on other business processes and system priorities.
- Key systems like Microsoft Identity Manager (MIM), and Forefront Identity Manager (FIM), ensure seamless identity synchronization and automation of access management, while SharePoint enables efficient collaboration and document management across teams.
- Expertise in Okta is critical for enforcing robust security measures such as Single Sign-On (SSO)and Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), ensuring secure access to applications across the enterprise.
- Additionally, knowledge of Salesforce allows for customized CRM solutions, data management, and secure integration with other enterprise systems.
Required Skills:
- 3 or more years of experience with Microsoft Identity Manager (MIM) and Forefront Identity Manager (FIM).
- 3 or more years of experience with SharePoint security and administration
- 1 or more years of experience with Salesforce Administration with Security & User Identity Management
- Experience in IT User Account Security, which safeguards sensitive information by ensuring secure user account setup, maintenance, and deactivation. Expertise in this area allows for the development and enforcement of access control policies, regular security audits, and swift response to incidents, minimizing the risk of unauthorized access and protecting valuable organizational data
- Expertise in identity synchronization, role-based access control, and automation of identity workflows to manage user identities across systems securely.
- Skilled in implementing Single Sign-On (SSO), Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), and integrating Okta with other enterprise systems to enhance security and user access management.
- Experience in customizing workflows, managing CRM data, and integrating Salesforce with identity management solutions to provide secure access and improve business processes.

- Experience in PowerShell script
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Master’s degree is a plus.
