What are the responsibilities and job description for the Echo Kids Director. position at Echo Church?
The Fremont Campus echoKids Director or Pastor leads and empowers the campus coordinators to partner with parents by providing age appropriate, safe, and fun environments; where every child is known and has the opportunity to encounter Jesus.
Campus Responsibilities:
- Give vision and direction to campus children’s ministry
- Lead campus coordinators to execute children’s ministry strategy
- Develop leaders within children’s ministry
- Ensure campus children’s ministry is run with excellence and simplicity
- Set the tone spiritually for the campus children’s ministry
- Meet regularly with coordinator team to keep unity and forward progress
- Recruit, develop, and invest in coordinators
- Lead new volunteer orientation or equip a qualified leader
- Determine rhythm for all volunteer meetings by area and as a whole ministry
- Evaluate weekends and work on necessary next steps (weekly)
- Maintain regular contact, collaboration, and care with parents
Qualifications:
- Active follower of Jesus who is continually seeking to grow in their faith
- Agreement with Echo.Church mission, vision, values, and beliefs
- Passion for seeing children say Yes to Jesus
- Passion for equipping parents to be the primary disciple-makers of their kids
- Ability to lead through individuals and teams
- Proven record of growing things and leading high capacity leaders

- Praying and giving spiritual advice for others
- Leading others to worship by helping them serve with their gifts
- Teaching and leading Life Groups
- Sharing the Gospel message with clarity
- Teaching, instructing, or organizing religious initiatives
- Performing baptisms, serving communion, performing wedding ceremonies and funerals.
