The salary range for this position is $48,000 - $55,000 based on experience and qualifications.
ECHO is looking for a detailed, analytical, and customer-centric Deductions/Chargeback Specialist to join our dynamic and collaborative Sales Operations Team!
This is a hybrid position that will offer the flexibility of working from home and on-site at our Lake Zurich facility.

Duties/Responsibilities:
- Own and understand the complexities of customer balances related to a large, big-box retail customer.
- Research and reconcile account receivable balances related to deduction/chargeback disputes, discrepancies, and short payments promptly.
- Reconcile customer accounts regarding invoices that are past due or short-paid.
- Analyze disputes from current and past incidents to understand the root cause and develop and implement solutions to minimize and prevent future occurrences.
- Process discrepancies of pricing, allowances, discounts, damages, shortages, and RTV claims.

- Manage and respond to emails promptly, ensuring effective communication with internal and external stakeholders.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement, document processes, and collaborate across functions to implement changes as needed.
- Develop and maintain a positive rapport with various internal and external customers, ensuring the highest level of customer service through relationship building.
Job Experience/Skills:
- Prior sales support or account management experience a plus.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel including the ability to perform pivot tables, v-look up functions, and advanced filtering.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to problem-solve.
- Identifies opportunities for process improvements.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Education: Bachelor's Degree is preferred or equivalent experience.
