What are the responsibilities and job description for the Division Order Manager position at Eckard Enterprises, LLC?
JOB SUMMARY
This position reports to the Vice President of Land. The Division Order Manager is responsible for providing leadership and guidance to individuals who are involved in the Division Order Department. This position will be responsible for aligning processes within the department and working with land & accounting to provide seamless division order management.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage interactions with other departments within the company, including but not limited to, the Land and Accounting departments.
- Manage a team of 3-5 Division Order Analysts.
- Mentor and train a team of Division Order Analysts to help them grow their expertise.
- Develop system for new well and new interest setups as well as interest verification and new deck setup.
- Manage the acquisition, research and analysis of real property documents and title opinions to determine correct ownership.
- Coordinate with Revenue and JIB Accounting on all royalty owner and working interest owner matters.
- Advises on proper procedures and business practices regarding interest shortages, wells in pay timing and statutory interest.
- Responsible for coordinating and providing reports to ensure the integrity of internal processes and procedures.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Must have 10 years of experience in onshore oil and gas land administration with focus in Division Orders
- Highly knowledgeable with regards to complex lease and title issues, preferably in the Permian and Anadarko Basins.
- Must be familiar with various State (OK, TX, NM), Federal and BLM regulations and associated websites (OCC, TRR, etc.).
- Expert proficiency with Microsoft Office required, with emphasis on Excel and Word.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills, whether interfacing with staff or management.
- Must be goal oriented, approaching multiple/concurrent deadlines with a sense of urgency and drive.
- Ideal candidate will possess an attention to detail and strong analytical and complex problem-solving skills
- Must be a team player who possesses the ability to adapt to new technologies, workflows and processes.
- Ability to manage team members in a professional manner.

Education Requirements
Minimum
10 Years / Bachelors Degree - Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in oil and gas land/lease/division orders
Preferred
CDOA strongly preferred
Years of Experience
10 years - Minimum 3 Years of manager experience
