About ECU Health Chowan Hospital
ECU Health Chowan Hospital in Edenton is a 25-bed critical access hospital which provides programs and services to 110,000 people in 6 counties. The facility offers medical and surgical services, including intensive care, a specialty care clinic and a dedicated outpatient surgery area with endoscopy capabilities. A 7-bed emergency department serves approximately 15,000 patients per year and team members at the facility have access to a telemedicine link with the Brody School of Medicine at East Carolina University.
Minimum Requirements
Licensed as a registered nurse by the North Carolina Board of Nursing.
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing is required.
Master's Degree in Nursing with a concentration in education, informatics, or health information and systems management is preferred.
Minimum of five years clinical practice with evidence of advanced clinical knowledge, leadership, teaching, and advanced clinical reasoning ability.
Must be proficient with computers, information technology, and patient care technology.
Certification as American Heart Association BLS and ACLS Instructor is preferred.

Other Information
- Full time position with benefits.
- Shift: Days, 40 hours per week, Monday - Friday, 8 am - 5:00 pm
- Will have to do some educational rounds on nights and weekends
