Position Summary
The Supervisor will be responsible for day to day supervision and coordination of service provision for a multidisciplinary team. Responsibilities include daily monitoring of process effectiveness and outcomes, service delivery, and support of care management and clinical services to patients and families. The Supervisor will also participate in provision of care and service delivery a portion of the time and assist with overall operations of the division/department.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the day to day coordination of services including provision of care, service delivery and quality.
- Coordinates age specific quality care by utilizing advanced and specialty focused clinical skills, expert clinical knowledge, and effective management of resources.
- Ensures standards of care are followed and documented.
- Leads and participates in quality monitoring, clinical record reviews, observations, quality improvement, regulatory, compliance activities, and audits to assure evidence based practices are followed.
- Ensures available, cost-effective resources for provision of patient care services, manages staff to volume.
- Leads interviews, selection, onboarding and training of new staff.
- Oversees scheduling, productivity management, and time approvals.
- Holds staff accountable for job responsibilities, productivity and outcome measures, and adherence to policies and procedures.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or Master's Degree in Social Work
- Must maintain a valid North Carolina driver's license or be licensed in the state of residence and maintain the VH required insurance limits.
- 2-3 years related experience
- For BSN: License as a Registered Nurse, must maintain licensure with the North Carolina Board of Nursing.
