Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Manufacturing Quality Assurance Specialist to play a vital role in ensuring satisfaction for both internal and external customers through effective maintenance and improvement of system and vehicle quality. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Maintaining and enhancing both system and vehicle quality.
- Planning quality station layouts and locations, creating work station content, and collaborating directly with quality planners to ensure accurate work steps are developed for new models/options.
- Performing routine analysis of internal/external quality sensors to update quality station work steps, including in-process inspection, production and quality feedback systems, and process audits.
- Notifying for any new equipment required for new models/options.
- Supporting quality built-in processes and continuous improvement activities throughout operations.
- Conducting studies to find the most economical solutions for inspection methods, instruments, and test equipment.
- Assisting in the development, implementation, and training/use of inspection and test plans, standards, and acceptance criteria, as well as procedures/work instructions.
- Developing and maintaining control plans for pre-launch and launch activities.
- Investigating and eliminating systemic quality problems through effective root cause analysis and following up on corrective actions.
