Position Summary: We are looking for a Senior Controls Engineer to lead and contribute to the design, development, and implementation of sophisticated control systems for our industrial pumping equipment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in embedded systems (hardware/software), industrial controls, and communication protocols, as well as experience with PLCs and other industrial automation technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design, programming, and testing of control systems for industrial pumping equipment.
- Develop embedded systems hardware and software for advanced control solutions.
- Implement and troubleshoot CANBUS protocols and other industrial communication standards.
- Design and program PLC-based control systems and HMIs.
- Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, and software engineers to ensure seamless integration of control systems.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including schematics, wiring diagrams, and user manuals.
- Support manufacturing, testing, and field deployment activities.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and technicians.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- 5 years of experience in control systems engineering, with a focus on embedded systems and industrial automation.
- Proficiency in programming languages commonly used in embedded systems and industrial automation, such as C, C , and ladder logic.
- Hands-on experience with CANBUS protocols and other communication standards (MODBUS, Ethernet/IP, etc.).
- Expertise in PLC programming and HMI development.
- Strong understanding of electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and control panel design.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot complex control systems and provide effective solutions.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative, cross-functional team environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems, or a related field.
- Experience with advanced industrial control platforms and software.
- Knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to industrial control systems.
- Prior experience in a manufacturing or industrial equipment environment.
