Job Summary:
We are seeking a Pump Technician with at least 2 years of experience in pump maintenance, repair, and installation. The ideal candidate will be responsible for servicing and maintaining industrial pumps used in heavy-duty environments. This role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of industrial pumps used in various applications.
- Disassemble, inspect, and repair pumps and associated equipment according to technical specifications.
- Conduct preventative maintenance on pumps to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
- Diagnose and resolve pump-related issues, ensuring minimal downtime.
- Assist in the installation of pumps and related systems at job sites.
- Maintain detailed records of repairs and service work, ensuring all documentation is accurate and up to date.
- Work closely with the service department to ensure timely repair and service of pumps for customers.
- Adhere to safety standards and company policies to ensure a safe working environment.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in pump maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of industrial pump systems, including centrifugal, slurry, or dredge pumps.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
- Ability to lift and handle heavy equipment as needed.
- Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment preferred.

Pay: $19.00 - $26.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
