The Supply Chain Scheduler is responsible for creating and maintaining a production plan which will achieve target customer service levels while maintaining appropriate levels of inventory.

- Utilize MRP and other planning tools to create production plans for assigned value streams.
- Create both short- and long-term production plans to balance production capacity with inventory targets.
- Project forward-looking inventory positions and financial implications.
- Facilitate meetings with stakeholders and vendors to review planned orders and production schedules.
- Participate in SIOP process by providing updated build plans and analysis for assigned value streams.
- Adjust production schedules in response to changes in customer demand.
- Administer system data and planning parameters, including stocking levels for assigned value streams.
- Monitor movement of materials through purchasing, storage, production, and retail distribution.
- Develop, monitor, and report internal and external key performance indicators including forecast accuracy and schedule adherence.
- Engage in continuous improvement of planning tools, processes, and procedures to support target customer service and inventory levels.
- Serve as primary point of contact for outside process work orders, including management of relationships with key outside process suppliers.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
This position requires an individual with the following skills/attributes
- Bachelor's degree in business management, logistics, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience working in logistics or supply chain management.
- Detailed knowledge of production planning/scheduling and inventory management.
- Advanced mathematical and analytical skills.
- Experience with statistical analysis.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to write and present detailed inventory reports.
