The Opportunity
Eden Centers for Hope and Healing (Eden Centers) is seeking a dynamic and experienced Program Administrator. We are seeking a candidate who brings relevant skills and interest to the role, maturity and ownership of their work, and is looking for an opportunity to provide program support in a fast-paced, growing organization. The Program Administrator reports to the Chief Executive Officer and provides support to the Finance Director and Clinical Director.
Responsibilities include:
Administrative Support
- Physical house management of both long-term residential homes, including organization of documents and office and house inventory
- Assist CEO in event planning
- Manage relevant administrative duties, such as processing petty cash, invoices and mail
- Prepare documents for and take minutes at regular Board Meetings
- Provide feedback and ideas for improving practices within the non-clinical program to ensure that proper organizational standards and goals are met
- Assist in staff management through preparing staff meeting materials, fostering clear communication and respect among staff members, and organizing schedules
- Oversee the maintenance and optimization of the organization's website, ensuring it is regularly updated and in alignment with organization's objectives
- Works with IT vendor to ensure all computers and data are secure and compliant with applicable laws and regulations
Community and Donor Engagement
- Assist Community Engagement Coordinator with reports, brochures, and newsletters to inform and engage community
- Communicate with local partners and volunteers about holiday foods and donations for residents (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years, Mardi Gras, Easter, etc)
- Work with the community members and organizations to identify possibilities for partnerships and develop programs with them to support residents
Intern Coordination and Supervision
- Engage with local universities to recruit interns, i.e. attend internship fairs and/or contact service learning facilitators
- Help facilitate the application process (advertising, screening, interviewing, etc.)
- Plan intern assignments with CEO
- Plan professional development with the guidance of CEO
- Serve as primary contact for Eden Centers undergraduate interns
Resident Support
- Occasionally drive residents to and from appointments
- Organize weekly community meal with residents, staff, and volunteers
Reports to: Chief Executive Officer
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in related field
- 2 years of work experience (could include Americorps or related experience)
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Exceptional organizational and leadership skills
- Prior training, experience, or demonstrated interest to work with individuals who have experienced severe trauma
- Ability to adapt to quickly changing work environments
- Working knowledge of Office, donor databases, and Excel
General Duties:
- Because of the growing, fluid and evolving nature of work at the Eden Centers, Program Administrator, may, from time to time, be asked to take on other assignments not covered in this position description (which is itself an evolving document). The Program Administrator is expected to demonstrate openness and flexibility when asked to take on these new assignments. Every team member employed by Eden Centers is expected to demonstrate:

Salary And Benefits:
The salary hiring range for this position is $45,000 - $50,000 and is commensurate with experience. This position is forty (40) hours a week, exempt position, which may be required to work nights and weekends for volunteer activities or special events. The employee is eligible to participate in a health reimbursement plan (ICHRA) the first day of the following month after your 90 days have been completed. This plan offers up to $5,050.00 per year (prorated) to reimburse health related expenses for the employee, to be paid monthly with receipt of expenses. To qualify for this health reimbursement plan, you must provide documentation of health insurance coverage. Thirteen (13) paid holidays, paid time off during winter recess between Christmas and New Year’s Eve, and may qualify for unlimited sick and vacation days in adherence to the employee handbook.
