TITLE: Administrative Assistant
EXEMPT OR NON-EXEMPT: Non-Exempt
FULL- OR PART-TIME: Full-time
PAY RANGE: $18.00 - $23.25/hr
REPORTS TO: President/CEO
General Description:
We are looking for a skilled employee to join our team. The ideal candidate has previous experience with administrative work and an aptitude for problem-solving and analytical thinking. This position requires working in a fast-paced atmosphere, so it is essential that the successful candidate has excellent communication skills.
EXPECTATIONS OF ALL EMPLOYEES:

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1. Answer and direct phone calls
2. Organize and schedule appointments, manage calendars.
3. Drafts, reviews, and sends professional correspondence.
4. Organizes physical files and electronic files on the network for easy access.
5. Maintains confidential, sensitive, and proprietary information.
6. Gathers data and creates reports.
7. Coordinate development of agendas for meetings, take minutes as required, and create professional presentations with technical input from appropriate sources.
8. Maintain office supplies and order as needed.
9. Order supplies per company purchasing policy. Research new deals and suppliers.
10. Update and maintain office policies and procedures per direction of supervisor
11. Maintain contact list
12. Submit and reconcile expense reports
13. Provide general support to visitors
14. Data Entry
15. Performs other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Possess intermediate to advanced skill level in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Publisher, Outlook) and internet skills.
- Must be able to type at least 40 words per minute with minimal errors. Must be able to operate copiers, printers, fax machine, and other office equipment as required.
- Must be able to represent Edeniq, Inc. professionally.
- Possess professional business grammar and writing skills.
- Must possess excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Must possess interpersonal skills and be able to build rapport with employees, vendors and customers.
- Must be able to schedule vendors and manage vendor costs.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
EDUACATION AND EXPERIENCE:
High School Diploma - or the equivalent
Associate’s degree (or other 2-year degree)
Three to five years’ relevant work experience required, with at least two years of experience in positions that required performance in the areas identified under the essential duties and responsibilities section above.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Must be able to perform the essential functions with or without accommodations. Must be able to move around the office and lab to perform task that require bending, lifting and standing for extended periods of time. This position must be able to lift up to 30lbs.
