Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Service Manager to oversee our service operations and ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in technical service, with expertise in equipment repair and troubleshooting. As a Service Manager, you will lead a team of service technicians, manage service requests, and maintain operational efficiency while fostering a culture of excellence within the department.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the service team to ensure timely and effective service delivery.
  • Manage service requests from customers, ensuring all issues are addressed promptly and efficiently.
  • Provide technical support for field service operations, including equipment repair and software troubleshooting.
  • Train and mentor service technicians on best practices for using hand tools, schematics, and OEM specifications.
  • Collaborate with other departments to improve service processes and enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain accurate records of service activities, including repairs performed, parts used, and customer feedback.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies during all service operations.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Service Manager or in a similar role within the technical services industry.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in equipment repair and field service operations.
  • Proficiency in computer networking, computer hardware, and software troubleshooting.
  • Familiarity with hand tools and schematics relevant to equipment maintenance and repair.
  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team of technicians.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail to effectively address customer issues.
  • Excellent communication skills for interacting with customers and team members.

Job Type: Full-time

Expected hours: 40 per week
