Job Summary:
The Warranty Administrator/Service Writer is responsible for managing warranty claims, coordinating service appointments, and ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction. This role requires strong organizational skills, technical knowledge, and the ability to communicate effectively with customers, technicians, and manufacturers.
Key Responsibilities:
Warranty Management:
- Process and submit warranty claims accurately and in a timely manner.
- Liaise with manufacturers to ensure claims are approved and reimbursed.
- Maintain detailed records of all warranty claims and associated documentation.
Service Writing:
- Greet customers and assess their service needs.
- Create and manage repair orders, providing clear and detailed descriptions of services to be performed.
- Coordinate schedules between customers and service technicians.
- Provide cost and time estimates for repairs and maintenance.
Customer Service:
- Communicate with customers throughout the service process, providing updates and addressing concerns.
- Ensure a positive customer experience by delivering prompt, courteous, and professional service.
Collaboration and Team Support:
- Work closely with technicians to ensure accurate diagnoses and efficient workflow.
- Support the Service Manager in meeting department goals and maintaining high service standards.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in warranty administration, service writing, or a related role in the powersports or automotive industry.
- Strong understanding of mechanical systems and warranty processes.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Proficient in computer systems and software, including dealership management systems (DMS).
- Outstanding communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

Pay: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour
