Position Description
Position Overview: The Collector will be
responsible for managing accounts receivable, ensuring the timely collection of
outstanding payments, and maintaining positive customer relationships while
supporting the financial health of the company. This role requires strong
communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple
accounts and deadlines efficiently.
In addition to traditional collections tasks, the Collector
will also be responsible for handling Deductibles, Net Claim Payments, and
Recoverable Depreciation, all of which are essential for ensuring the accurate
and efficient processing of our clients' insurance claims. This role will
involve liaising with insurance companies, policyholders, estimators, and other
relevant parties to gather precise financial information, including deductible
amounts, Approved Net Claim Payments from the insurer, and Recoverable
Depreciation.
Schedule: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm
Desired Qualifications:
- Proven experience in collections, particularly in industries related to insurance, property restoration, or construction.
- Familiarity with insurance claim processes, including understanding deductibles and recoverable depreciation.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, insurance companies, and internal teams.
- Spanish fluency is a big plus to connect with our diverse customers.
- Detail-oriented and highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple accounts and deadlines.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information in a professional manner.
- Must be flexible with work schedule that includes nights, weekends, and holidays
