What are the responsibilities and job description for the SQA-Test Engineer Connected Appliances (NO THIRD PARTIES PLEASE) position at Edge Staffing?
We are seeking a skilled Test Technician to join our client's team, southwest of Boston, MA.
This is a 3-6 month, onsite, contract opportunity.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in the planning, design and execution of tests on electromechanical products, preferably appliances. You will then collect the data/test results, draw conclusions from them and then organize and clearly share/present these results to the team,
along with excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, design and execute tests on electromechanical products (small appliances, electronic equipment, etc)
- Collect the data/test results and draw conclusions from them
- Organize and then clearly present these results to the team
- Demonstrate exceptional attention to detail in all aspects of work.
- Work independently or with minimal guidance to complete tasks efficiently.
- Employ excellent problem-solving skills to overcome technical challenges.
Requirements:
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering. Electrical Engineering and Electro-Mechanical Degrees will also be considered
- Experience in the planning and execution of tests on electromechanical products
- Experience organizing and presenting these findings to teammates and management
- Strong electromechanical aptitude.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently or with little guidance.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
