Responsibilities
- Put the customer first: Act as a trusted technical advisor and customer advocate. Develop a deep understanding of customer needs, objectives, and constraints and iterate with them daily.
- Deliver value: Design and implement solutions that leverage AI, distributed infrastructure, and connectivity to address complex business challenges.
- Quantify the result: Continuously evaluate and optimize solution performance, ensuring alignment with customer goals and industry best practices.
- Share knowledge and stimulate ideas: Lead technical discussions and presentations, effectively communicating complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences. Collaborate with internal engineering teams to leverage the best technologies and best practices.
- Be an industry-leading expert: Contribute to the development of best practices, knowledge sharing, and documentation to enhance the team's overall expertise. Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends, particularly in AI, distributed systems, and networking.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: 5 years of experience in a customer-facing technical role, such as Solutions Engineer, Sales Engineer, or Technical Consultant.
- AI Fluency: Familiarity with leading AI tools, foundational AI/ML concepts, GPU acceleration techniques, and experience in developing software systems that support AI workflows.
- Automation Mindset: Proficiency in CI/CD toolchains, infrastructure-as-code, and scripting languages. Ability to build and maintain automation workflows for system provisioning and updates.
- Security: Comfortable with working with customer data and implementing secure, zero-trust models.
- Distributed & Cloud-native: Strong experience with Kubernetes, container networking, distributed storage solutions, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP). Experience designing and implementing software for distributed computing environments.
- Networking Expertise: Experience with networking concepts and protocols, including VLANs, routing, encryption, and firewall policies, as well as a good understanding of network topology and hands-on experience with networking hardware and wireless communications.
- Natural at Problem-solving: Proven ability to design and implement complex technical solutions with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Leadership & Communication: Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with edge computing and IoT technologies.
- Familiarity with data analytics and visualization tools.
- Understanding of how to optimize GPU resources in a containerized environment.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices, compliance frameworks, and managing environments under customer-defined security guidelines.
