What are the responsibilities and job description for the Coastal Compass Center Navigator position at Education to Employment Partners?
Under the direction of E2E Partners, the Center Lead serves as the lead of Coastal Compass, coordinates and supports the Coastal Compass Mobile Center activities, and provides oversight for reengagement programs.
Responsibilities and Duties
· Strive to bring together people, information, and resources to increase educational and job attainment in the Coastal Bend· Ensure compliance with safety standards, organizational policies, and general procedures
· Assist in developing and implementing strategies to increase outcomes related to the number of customers served (both in-person and remotely) as well as the number of individuals reached via community outreach activities (i.e., follow-up program, referral program, CCMC)
· Ensure that the Center is open during hours of operation and that all events/activities (both inside and outside the Center) are staffed
· Train and support Coastal Compass staff and partners as appropriate to ensure Center operations are efficient and effective and that client's needs are met in a positive, respectful manner
· Work with the Center Director to keep itemized inventory documentation and ensure that all equipment, technology, and furniture assets are secured and maintained appropriately
· Work to provide relevant content for the Coastal Compass monthly newsletter
· Assist in the coordination and execution of workshops, activities, and major events such as, but not limited to, FAFSA Frenzy, Let’s en-Roll, and the Youth Summer Jobs Fair
· Implement strategies to engage and serve out-of-school youth, foster youth, parents, and community members
· Obtain and report data accurately
· Establish positive and trusting relationships with customers
· Other Duties, as assigned.
Required Job Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

Minimum Qualifications
· Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution in Business, Public Administration, Management, or related field AND one (1) year of non-profit or program support experience
· Associate degree from an accredited institution in Business, Public Administration, Management, or related field AND three (3) years of non-profit or program support experience
· Experience in the development and administration of programs supporting opportunity youth and economically disadvantaged population groups
· Experience in the development and administration of programs that connect learners to institutions of higher education and workforce training
· Proficient with Microsoft Office applications and CRM databases
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
