Job Overview
">We are seeking a skilled Procurement Excellence Specialist to join our team at Edwards Vacuum. In this role, you will play a key part in driving business growth by developing and implementing strategic sourcing initiatives that maximize profitability while sustaining a market competitive price level for our products.
">Main Responsibilities
">- Develop a comprehensive strategic sourcing roadmap, including defined commodity strategies, supplier onboarding, management, and exit plans
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for cost savings and supply chain improvements
- Work closely with suppliers to ensure they meet quality targets and implement corrective actions when necessary
- Create and drive solutions to improve on-time-delivery (OTD) and lead times with external vendors
- Implement cost reduction strategies across the supplier base using a Total Cost of Ownership model
- Coordinate with Purchase Planning Team to ensure purchasing and stocking strategies align with corporate working capital targets
- Negotiate Master Supply Agreements (MSAs) with key suppliers
- Manage RFQs for both new and existing products
- Facilitate communication and coordination with internal stakeholders for parts allocation and vendor performance improvements
Required Skills and Qualifications
">- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or related field
- Proven experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to transform large amounts of information into concise and understandable messages
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to deliver messages to stakeholders at different levels
- Self-motivated, self-accountable, and willing to take calculated risks
- Ability to prioritize tasks effectively and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Proficient in SAP and Microsoft Office applications, including Excel
- Experience running cross-functional projects is an asset
