About the Job : As the Procurement Specialist - you will be part of a dynamic, growing company. You will be responsible for managing all aspects of the company's procurement activities, including implementing and maintaining procurement policies, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring compliance with federal and corporate regulations. You will play a crucial role in optimizing our supply chain and supporting our company's growth through effective procurement strategies

• Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with company objectives and federal regulations
• Manage the full procurement lifecycle from requisition to payment, ensuring compliance with company policies and federal requirements
• Lead vendor selection processes including RFP development, bid evaluations, and contract negotiations
• Conduct cost and price analyses for procurements exceeding the Simplified Acquisition Threshold
• Maintain detailed procurement records and documentation for audit purposes
• Ensure compliance with federal regulations including 2 CFR 200 requirements when applicable
• Develop and maintain relationships with key suppliers and contractors
• Implement and monitor procurement performance metrics
• Lead initiatives to optimize procurement processes and reduce costs
• Coordinate with various departments to understand and fulfill procurement needs
• Manage and mentor procurement team members
• Drive continuous improvement in procurement practices and procedures

Minimum Requirements

Compensation : $75,000 - $95,000 salary

Work Style : Hybrid / Remote Possible (Company based in Buffalo, NY with plans for national expansion)
