Executive Assistant to Chief Executive Officer
The Effingham County Chamber of Commerce seeks a skilled and proactive Executive Assistant to support our President & CEO and contribute to the operational success of a dynamic, community-focused organization.
Position Overview
This is a highly visible role, providing direct support to the President and CEO and engaging with business leaders, local officials, and key stakeholders. The ideal candidate is not just an administrator but a strategic thinker and problem solver who thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Manage complex scheduling, communications, and meeting logistics
- Coordinate materials and logistics for board meetings, retreats, and workshops
- Support event coordination, membership engagement, and marketing efforts
- Assist with social media content, copywriting, and CRM data management
- Process invoices and reports using QuickBooks
- Maintain confidentiality and uphold professionalism at every level
Requirements
- 3 years of executive admin experience (Chamber, nonprofit, or association preferred)
- Strong communication, multitasking, and project management skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Canva, Constant Contact, QuickBooks, and CRM systems
- Experience in social media, digital marketing, and stakeholder engagement
- A high level of discretion, initiative, and adaptability
