Overview:

Egan Company is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Project Coordinator located in Raleigh, North Carolina. The Project Coordinator serves as a critical member of the Process & Manufacturing team and provides administrative and coordination support for project managers and project teams.

*** For this position you would need to live close to Raleigh, NC since you will be working on-site ***

Responsibilities:

The basic responsibilities of the Project Coordinator include but are not limited to the following:

  • Provide support to project teams and project managers by assisting with day-to-day tasks (i.e. construction drawings, amendments, supply requisitions, procurement, take-offs, RMAs, material returns, etc.).
  • Assist with processing of submittals, RFI's, schedule updates, subcontracts, purchase orders, change orders, billings, and change request pricing.
  • Monitor V-Model for each project and assist with associated tasks (i.e. schedule kick-off and close-out meetings, coordinate tool returns, etc.).
  • Respond to customer requests for documentation (i.e. Certificates of Insurance and safety).
  • Create and maintain project and internal manufacturing schedules using applications such as MS Project, MS Word/Excel, Google Docs/Sheets, and Egan’s Shop Information System (SIS).
  • Maintain blueprints/drawings in PlanGrid.
  • Assist with updating and maintaining Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system
  • Track job permitting.
  • Run and review reports, including job labor and job status reports; assist with labor coordination, when needed.
  • Schedule job status meetings and run project labor scheduling meetings.
  • Provide assistance with billing and T&M invoicing; work with Accounts Receivable team when needed.
  • Compose, edit, and send emails, letters, memos, reports, and procedures.
  • Create proposal letters, bids for project managers, and subcontract agreements; assist with managing subcontractor document compliance.
  • Assist with assembling O&M manuals.
  • Assist in the updating and accurate generation of as-built documents.
  • Promote a positive safety culture and build strong internal partnerships; work collaboratively within group and with other Egan groups to support Egan’s Mission, Vision and Values.
  • File and maintain project documents.
  • Perform additional duties and assignments as requested/needed.

Position Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 3 years’ experience with project coordination, general office support or related roles.
  • Experience in the construction industry and/or working with contractors is highly preferred, but not required.
  • Visits to jobsites and client sites may be required on occasion.

Working Conditions:

  • Performance of duties will mostly be in the office and/or at home.
  • Must be able to stand or sit for extended periods of time.
  • Travel to jobsites may involve climbing ladders, walking on unleveled ground, being exposed to the elements, dirt, dust, and loud noises.
