Job Title: Extended Enrichment Program Coordinator (Part-Time)

Reports To: Director of Extended Enrichment

Job Purpose: A Coordinator of the before and after school programs and summer camps ensures the facility is a safe and fun place for children to learn. The Coordinator is tasked with a wide variety of front and back-office responsibilities. The Coordinator enjoys working with children and wants to provide the students with the best possible experience.

Qualifications-Required:
High School Diploma
Excellent interpersonal skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent classroom management skills
Ability to create engaging educational activities
Ability to motivate and engage staff and students
Ability to collaborate and interact with fellow teachers and administrators
Ability to use technology with daily lesson plans
Valid driver’s license
Able to pass the Sexual Misconduct/Child Abuse Disclosure
Able to pass the Criminal History Review
Able to pass pre-employment physical exam

Qualifications-Desired:
Experience working with school-aged students
Experience working in a school district before/after program

Duties/Responsibilities:
Ensures staff and students are in assigned classrooms and have signed in
Ensures activities are delivered as intended
Oversees drop off and pick up of students
Coordinates and distributes daily snacks
Ensures field trip activities are completed as scheduled
Ensures that emergency contacts are current and accessible
Communicates with school-day teachers and nurses regarding specific student needs
Performs all other duties as assigned

$27.00/hour

Able to use a variety of equipment and classroom tools such as, computers, copiers, calculators, projectors, and equipment for students with needs
Able to use a variety of musical instruments and provide for their care by moving and organizing instrument cases and protectors
Able to stand for long periods of time
Able to walk up/down stairs
Able to walk hallways
Able to exert a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects in the classroom
