Eggland’s Best has been a true success story in the industry from a start-up venture to the #1 position in the U.S. egg market, with years of continued sales growth, and a leading Specialty Egg market share. The company is comprised of a franchise network of egg producers and has distribution throughout the United States including key retailers such as Walmart, Kroger, Safeway, Target, Costco, Meijer, Wegman’s, and HE Butt. The Eggland’s Best quality assurance program is by far the most comprehensive in the industry.
The Consumer Services Representative will serve as the primary point of contact for consumers, providing exceptional support and assistance regarding Eggland’s Best products and services. This role requires excellent communication skills, a passion for customer service, and a strong commitment to ensuring consumer satisfaction.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Respond to consumer inquiries, feedback, and complaints via phone, email, and social media channels in a timely and professional manner.
- Provide accurate information and assistance regarding Eggland’s Best products, including nutritional information, storage guidelines, and cooking recommendations.
- Investigate and resolve consumer issues and concerns, ensuring a positive resolution and satisfactory experience for all parties involved.
- Document consumer interactions and maintain detailed records of inquiries, complaints, and resolutions for reporting and analysis purposes.
- Collaborate with internal departments, including Quality Assurance, Innovation, and Marketing, to address consumer feedback and improve overall product quality and customer satisfaction.
- Stay updated on industry trends, consumer preferences, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for improvement and innovation in consumer services.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
- 3 years of experience in customer service or consumer relations, preferably in the food industry or consumer packaged goods (CPG) sector.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively interact with consumers and internal stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle challenging situations with patience and empathy.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and experience with customer relationship management (CRM) software preferred.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and familiarity with egg production processes a plus.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- Ability to sit for extended periods and perform tasks on a computer.
- Occasional lifting and carrying of office supplies and materials, up to 20 pounds.
- Frequent use of hands and fingers for typing, writing, and handling paperwork.
- Regular use of vision and hearing abilities to effectively communicate and navigate office environment.
- Occasional bending, stooping, and reaching to access files, documents, and office equipment.
