Job Description
This is a senior-level position that requires a high level of expertise in special education and student services. The ideal candidate will have experience in supervising and evaluating student services programs/staff, developing and implementing special education programs, and ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.
Responsibilities
- Supervise staff members assigned to the Special Education and Student Services Department, or other staff members as designated by the Superintendent.
- Oversee, supervise, and evaluate student services programs/staff, including but not limited to, school psychologists, pupil services and attendance counselors, and other assigned counselors.
- Work with Principals, certificated staff, and support personnel to develop, monitor, and evaluate State, Federal, and district special education and student services programs.
- Represent District in SELPA Operations Committee and other SELPA committees as assigned.
